Big 10 play continues with the 17th ranked Purdue Boilermakers heading to Iowa to take on the Hawkeyes, in what should be a good matchup.
Purdue has played some great basketball this season, getting quality wins over Notre Dame and Wisconsin.
Iowa hasn’t had any signature wins this season and will look to change that in its second matchup against the Boilermakers.

Purdue is looking like great this season, and kudos to coach Matt Painter for getting quality play out of his young guys.
Freshman guard Carsen Edwards is giving Purdue quality minutes, averaging 10.4 points per game.
Sophomore Caleb Swanigan has emerged as the leader of this team, averaging a double-double with 18.3 points and 12.9 rebounds per contest. He has been fantastic all year.

The offense is firing on all cylinder for the Boilermakers. The team averages about 83 points per game, which puts it 29th in the country in this category. The offense has been key in the big wins over ranked teams like Notre Dame and Wisconsin.
The defense has done a solid job as well, giving up just about 65 points per game. The Boilermakers rank in the top 50 in this category as well.

The offense will work through these three players and Iowa will need to find some unlikely heroes to help them out.
Beating Purdue will be a tough task, but it’s possible if the offense works in tandem and shoots the ball extremely well.
