Two teams with almost identical records match up when the Magic travel to Minnesota to take on the Timberwolves.

The Magic have struggled as of late, well the Timberwolves have been playing better basketball.

They have had issues on both sides of the ball as of late, but the offensive issues seem to be bigger.

Over the last three games they have only scored 98, 98, and 92 points respectively. For a team that doesn’t have a great defense it’s going to be hard to win many games when they are scoring under 100 points.

On of the reasons that they have struggled so much is that Evan Fournier, their leading scorer has been out the last few weeks with a heel injury.

He is at best questionable for Mondays game so they will once again probably have to play without him.

The Magic have struggled on the road this season, registering a record of 10-15.

Minnesota Timberwolves

After coming out of the gates slow the Minnesota Timberwolves have been playing much better as of late.

They are 7-3 in their last ten games and creeping closer to that last playoff berth. Although they still have been giving up a lot of points they are playing better team defense, and getting more stuffs when they need them.

On the offensive end of the ball the Wolves score 104 points per game and shoot 46 percent from the field. One of the big reasons for their success on the offensive end is the man in the middle.

Karl Anthony Towns has been playing like a mission the last month, and has been willing the team to victories.

He is averaging 23.9 points, 11.9 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game. He has been also learning to pass better out of the double team which is opening up more shots for his teammates.

At home this season the Timberwolves are 11-14.
