Outside of a 3 point loss to Tulsa this team has been great and have specifically been great on defense. They have only given up more then 30 points once this year and will lean on their defense the whole year to continue putting wins up.
They should be riding high, though, as the offense just put up 53 points against the UNLV Rebels last week.
The San Diego Aztecs have put together a nice season so far at 4-1 and are coming off of an impressive 14 point victory on the road against the Colorado State Rams. The secondary got the job done last week as they were exceptional limiting the Rams passing offense and getting 3 crucial interceptions.
Wyoming Cowboys
The Wyoming Cowboys rushing offense was rolling last week as they put up an incredible 374 rushing yards on only 48 attempts. Freshman runningback Titus Swen was the guy last week rushing for 136 yards and a touchdown on 14 attempts.

He likely does not get even close to 14 rushes in this game despite having that great game last time out as the Cowboys will likely need to throw the ball more in this spot.
Although the Cowboy’s defense is the strength of this team there may be some question marks starting to pop up over this secondary as they gave up a decent amount of yards to the Rebels last week and the secondary was at primary fault for the loss against Tulsa.
In the Tulsa game the Cowboys gave up 354 yards through the air and didn’t force a pick which is a bit of a concern. If we go back to the first game of the season we can see they also gave up 423 passing yards against Mizzou.
Can Ryan Agnew and Co. take advantage of what may be an overrated secondary?
The Wyoming Cowboys have a freshman QB so I expect them to try and slow the pace of the game down and lean on the running game here like they usually do.
The big problem I have with this Cowboys team is if the Aztecs get out to an early lead I find it hard to imagine Sean Chambers and his receiving corps being able to effectively throw the ball to get back into a game when they are down.

San Diego State Aztecs
The Aztecs are a solid team and just had a solid performance on the road against the Rams which should give them plenty of momentum and belief coming into this home game against Wyoming. there were only 473 total yards of offense in that game so it certainly was a defensive struggle.
It was a really tight game and the 14 point win by the Aztecs only happened because the Ram’s QB threw 3 key interceptions which essentially handed the game to San Diego.
One thing the Aztecs defense can hang its hat on was an unreal defensive performance against the run where they held the Rams to 0.7 yards per carry.
That was not a fluke either as they held Utah State to only 3 yards per carry in their loss 2 games back.
A worrisome point from that game two back was that they only had 3 points going into the fourth quarter, so it appears if this team can not get it’s running game going it will also struggle to move the ball.
That appears to be the case here as the Wyoming Cowboys will be super tough to run against come this Saturday.

Free Week 7 NCAA Football Pick
This number opened at 40.5 for the over under and the money has consistently flowed in on the under and I can see why.
It seems hard to imagine either of these sides scoring as they will both become 1 dimensional really quick as both of these team’s front 7 are legit.
I still think the 38 currently posted is good enough to bet and that is the only thing I can imagine betting here as this should be a pretty ugly game with a defensive touchdown likely being the difference.
4* Free NCAA Betting Pick: UNDER the number
Bet the under this Saturday and cash in on what should be a really low scoring affair.
