The Oregon Ducks are coming off a 41-24 win against the Colorado Buffaloes, while the Washington State Cougars lost to the California GOlden Bears, 34-28.

Oregon enters this contest 3-2, while the Cougars are 2-2.
The Cougs are 0-1 in conference play, while the Ducks have split their first two conference games to go 1-1 in that category.
Washington State
Washington State has improved since its Week 1 loss to FCS Portland State, 24-17.
All indications are that despite their loss last week, they’re quite able to put together a solid showing against a Ducks squad that hasn’t looked themselves up to this point of the year.
[dfads params=’groups=226&limit=1&return_javascript=1′]
The Cougars are built to challenge Oregon with their passing game. The Ducks rank dead last in the conference in yards allowed through the air (287.2) and touchdowns allowed through the air (16).
Defensively, Washington State could, and likely will, struggle. The hope for them hear is that Oregon continues to struggle with inconsistencies at quarterback.
Oregon
The Ducks don’t need to put together a perfect contest to win against an inferior opponent. We saw that last week, but the squad still had to sweat out a close one before breaking away in the third and fourth quarter.
That could be the theme in this one as well.

For the Ducks to avoid a close one, they need production from their secondary.
The team is going up against one of the nation’s most dangerous passing attacks, which means Oregon’s defense needs to step up even more than its quarterbacks (although there’s no denying this group has become a bit one-dimensional when it comes to consistency early in the year).

Free Week 4 NCAA Football Prediction
The Ducks have come down to Earth this season, but they’re still a step ahead of the Cougs. The question is: Can the Ducks win both SU and ATS?
4* Free NCAA Betting Pick: Washington State ATS
The Ducks should walk away with a double-digit win on Saturday, but between their inconsistencies on offense and struggles on defense, we’re looking at a showdown where the Cougars shouldn’t have a problem keeping it close throughout much of the contest.
