BYU has looked unbeatable through their first 3 games of the season. They are undefeated and have covered the spread in every game, winning each by at least 31 points.
The UTSA Roadrunners have also had an impressive start to the season, coming into Saturday’s matchup with a 3-1 record.
The Roadrunners will have their work cut out for them to keep up with the Cougars and keep this one close.
University of Texas at San Antonio Roadrunners
UTSA’s early success has been a surprise after finishing 4-8 a year ago. They have beat some solid teams and their only loss came on the road to UAB.
Dual-threat quarterback Frank Harris leads a Roadrunner offense that is scoring 31.3 points and 417 yards per game. The Junior has completed 66.3% of his passes for 508 yards and 3 touchdowns.
He’s added 162 yards and 5 touchdowns on the ground. He left their game against Middle Tennessee with an injury and will be a game-time decision on Saturday. If Harris is unable to play, Josh Adkins or Jordan Weeks will get the start.
The Roadrunners hasn’t played as well. They are giving up 447.5 yard per game, including over 300 yards passing per game. They will face a tough test against one of the best offenses in the country.
BYU Cougars
The Cougars couldn’t be off to a better start to the 2020 campaign. They have moved up the rankings after beating up on their first 3 opponents. They look like they can’t be slowed down and hope to continue their dominance on Saturday.
The BYU offense has been one of the most explosive offenses in the country under quarterback Zach Wilson. They are scoring 49.3 points per game and are totaling almost 600 yards per contest.
Wilson has completed a stellar 84.5% of his passes for 949 yards and 6 touchdowns.
The Cougar defense has also been one of the best squads in the country. They are allowing a 2nd best 8 points per game and stingy 214.3 yards. They have been incredibly tough and are extremely confident coming into this matchup.

Free Week 6 NCAA Football Pick
5 touchdowns is an enormous spread to cover. There is little room for error on either side of the ball. While BYU has been one of the hottest teams on both sides of the ball, they are playing a UTSA team that has played well.
If Frank Harris makes the start, he will be the first dual-threat quarterback that BYU has faced this year which could cause them some trouble.
I will back the Roadrunners to cover the spread.
