A crucial Pac 12 matchup takes shape Saturday night as the #18 USC Trojans take on the Arizona State Sun Devils.

The Trojans look to bounce back from a horrible 41-31 loss at the hands of Stanford last week.

For the Sun Devils, they will try to make it 3 in a row after dropping their season opener to Texas A&M.

The #18 team in the nation really doesn’t get too much recognition in the beginning of the season. They’ll typically play lower tier teams out west where the games don’t end till after 1 am on the east coast.

The Sun Devils have been dominating the Trojans these past couple seasons and a win this weekend would really set them up going forward.

Winners of 3 out of the last 4 in the series, Arizona State had a dramatic come from behind 38-34 win last year that saw Mike Bercovici heave a game ending bomb into the endzone.

With the offense struggling thus far into the season, the bright spot has been RB Demario Richard. The tailback has 294 rushing yards and a pair of touchdowns on the ground.

He’s also shown off his receiving skills as he’s gone for 178 yards receiving and 2 more touchdowns.

Arizona State has averaged only 28.7 points a game and will try to find their offensive groove that was so dynamic last season.
