Week 11 of the college football season sees the South Carolina Gamecocks visiting the Missouri Tigers.
South Carolina is coming off of a win and Missouri is coming off of a loss.
The Tigers started off as 1.5 point favorites and that number is now down to 1. I have also seen some shops list it as a pick ’em.
South Carolina Gamecocks
South Carolina has looked better than they have in past years which is a good sign. They just seem like they are more competitive in games that they normally would not be.
The Gamecocks were 20 point underdogs to the Florida Gators on Saturday, but that did not bother them. This team went out there and beat the Gators by a score of 40-17. Nobody saw that one coming.
Jason Brown was 14/24 for 175 yards with 2 touchdown passes on Saturday. I would not be surprised if he puts up good numbers again when they go against a defense in Missouri that is known for giving up lots of points/yards.
The running game was very effective for the Gamecocks against Florida. Kevin Harris had 16 carries for 128 yards and Zaquandre White had 13 carries for 111 yards. The leading receiver was Josh Vann who had 7 receptions for 111 yards.
The defense has struggled this year, but they made a big statement on Saturday when they only allowed 17 points to Florida. The Gators may not be a great team, but it is no easy task to shut down their offense when it is rolling.
Missouri Tigers
There have not been many positive things to say about Missouri this year. The reality is, they are not a very good football team.
The Tigers lost to the Georgia Bulldogs last week by a score of 43-6, but they cover as 39 point underdogs. I cannot say that I am surprised that they got overpowered by the best team in college football.
Against the Bulldogs, two quarterbacks were used. Brady Cook was 14/19 for 78 yards and Tyler Macon was 6/13 for 74 yards. Unsurprisingly, neither guy put up great numbers against an excellent defense in Georgia.
The offense just never got clicking for these guys last Saturday. It is not even a knock on their offense because nobody these days seems to be scoring on the Bulldogs. Their defense is historically good this year.
The defense is a huge area of concern for this squad. I was honestly surprised that they did not allow more points to Georiga. Although they are not as good as their opponent last week, stopping South Carolina will be no easy task.

Free Week 11 NCAA Football Pick
It will be interesting to see how South Carolina plays after they knocked off the Gators last week. They are once again an underdog, but this time it is only by a point.
I like the Gamecocks at +1 here. As mentioned earlier, some books are offering this as a PK, but I still see some at +1.
4* Free Week 11 NCAA Betting Pick:
If South Carolina wins this game they will be bowl eligible. That is very important for a team that has really struggled in past years.
Yes, every week is different, but if the Gamecocks can knock off the Gators, I feel like they can beat the Tigers.
Even though it is only by a point, I just do not trust Missouri to cover here. They have been very bad against the spread and I look for that trend to continue. I would not be shocked if South Carolina wins the game.
Give me the Gamecocks getting a point on the road.
