Marshall is quietly having a wonderful season. Another easy win is expected here.
Rice got a late start to the season and has played less than half as many games as Marshall.
This is a big number for the Thundering Herd, again. That means it will take a complete effort.

I know they are not going to make the playoffs this season but I think people are not giving the Thundering Herd enough credit for how good they have been this season.
Marshall has the top defense in the country giving up just over 10ppg and that has fueled an average margin of victory o over 27ppg. They are not flashy though.
On offense they are very balanced, a rare team that averages more than 200ypg on the ground and through the air. They are being led on this run by a freshman QB in Grant Wells. He has been very impressive.
Marshall can only play the teams they have on their schedule. They have shown over the last couple of weeks that they can beat up those weaker teams in CUSA.
