Pac-12 football action comes to you from Tucson, Arizona this Saturday as the Oregon Ducks take on the Arizona Wildcats in an inter-divisional matchup.
Both of these teams are coming off of losses last week on the road. The Ducks lost to the Cougars, while the Wildcats lost to the Bruins in Pasadena.
#19 Oregon Ducks
The Ducks now have to root for the Washington State Cougars to beat the Washington Huskies, and Stanford Cardinal if they want to stand any sort of chance of making the Pac-12 Championship game.
The loss last week to the Cougars pretty much ruined the Ducks chances of earning a trip to this year’s Rose Bowl as the all out winner of the Pac-12. To date, the Cougars have been the only team to hold the Ducks to under 30 points in a game this year.
This Ducks team has a very potent offense, averaging 39.7 points a game. Far more than this Arizona team is giving up each game, 25.3. If Oregon can get back to their explosive offensive ways, the Wildcats will stand no chance at all in hanging in this game.
The Wildcats outperformed their expectations last week with a first time starting QB. Rhett Rodriguez’s night started slow, completing just two of his first 12 passes, and the Wildcats found themselves in a quick 10-0 deficit. He finally got the jitters out and finished 15 of 34 for 231 yards.
Arizona starting QB Khalil Tate is still listed as questionable for this weekends game, so the Wildcats could be going back to Rodriguez to try and score against Ducks team that is only giving up an average of 26.1 points a game.
Last week was the first time the Wildcats have scored 30 points since way back on week 4, when they beat the Oregon State Beavers. A sweep of the Oregon schools would be a huge boost for first year head coach Kevin Sumlin, but this team will have to do far better than their 27.8 points per game average against this Ducks team.
NCAA Football Handicapping Trends
• Oregon leads all time head to head 26-16.

Free Week 9 NCAA Football Pick
With Oregon coming off a loss on the road last week, expect them to come out angry, and take it to the Wildcats. After falling behind to such a large deficit last week against Washington State, look for the Ducks to get their offense rolling early in this one.
4* Free NCAA Betting Pick: Oregon -9.5. Free ATS or O/U final score pick provided below!
Take Oregon to win this game, and cover the spread. It is still unknown if Khalil Tate will be a go on Saturday, and Oregon’s defense is a lot better than UCLA’s, so don’t expect a Rhett Rodriguez led offense to put up 30+ on this Ducks team.
Oregon should run away with this game early, with Arizona getting their points when the game is already out of reach. If Tate does play, the score below should be a bit closer, but Oregon will still win and cover.
