Thursday is the first conference game for Wake Forest, while NC State got a win against Virginia last week.
The Demon Deacons are not expected to compete well in the league this season, and their 1-point win in their opener over Kennesaw State might have confirmed that. Beating local Western Carolina last week was a better look for sure.

I think North Carolina State can be in control the whole game. Maybe even blow them out but this kind of bet gives a little more protection.
I think ultimately Bailey is too much for the Wake Forest defense. It might lead to a blow out but something like 28-21 with that late meaningless score is prevented.
Wake Forest might be a little more competitive this season but I have yet to see a reason to worry and Ashford has proven to be mediocre.
