Big Ten football will be the center of attention with plenty of leftovers on Friday in Iowa City when the Hawkeyes play host to the #17 Nebraska Cornhuskers.
Nebraska will be looking for their third consecutive win after beating up on the Maryland Terrapins 28-7 last week.

The Iowa Hawkeyes haven’t been able to have the year they were hoping for but they have won two in a row against the likes of that school in Ann Arbor and a 28-0 win over the Illinois Fighting Illini last week that seemed like nothing more than a competitive practice for the Hawkeyes.
Nebraska Cornhuskers
Nebraska will come into this one ranked the 17th team in all the land after winning at home last week 28-7 over the Maryland Terrapins.
Ryker Fyfe filled in under center and had a strong performance filling in for Tommy Armstrong Jr. with a touchdown and 220 passing yards. Armstrong is expected to be back in the lineup for Friday’s game against Iowa.
He will be looking to add-on to his 2,055 yards, 13 passing touchdowns, and eight trips across the goal line on the ground.
Terrell Newby was able to rack up 98 rushing yards and three touchdowns last week, but will be up against a little steeper hill this week.

The Cornhuskers have built the reputation of a run first team with 186.2 of the 401.5 yards they average per week coming on the ground. They have been able to put up an average of 28.3 points per game.
They have been strong on the defensive side pf the ball, only allowing their opponents to score 21.2 per game. They are giving up an average of 345.4 yards a contest with 215.5 of them coming on the ground
Iowa Hawkeyes
The Iowa Hawkeyes shocked everyone in the country when they pulled out the upset win against the Michigan Wolverines 14-13. They followed it up last week by man handling Illinois 28-0 last week.
C.J. Beathead was limited to lust 80 passing yards on just 9-17 passing attempts. Running back LeShun Daniels was able to come up with his best game of the season, scoring two touchdowns and racking up 159 rushing yards, putting his total at 855 for the year.

Free Week 13 NCAA Football Prediction
Both of these teams have been strong on defense all season and I expect it to be more of the same on Friday. The Huskers only give up 21.2 per game while Iowa is holding their opponents to just 18.6.
I am not sure if Iowa is able to cover even playing at home, but I do like the total staying under 41.5
4* Free NCAA Betting Pick: Total under 41.5
Nebraska is a running team and that might just come in their favor here. Iowa has a dangerous secondary, but they have been giving up 158.9 on the ground per game.
Iowa just played a tough defense two weeks ago against Michigan and came out on top, but it is going to be hard to do again here. I like them in a close one just because they are at home.
