The Virginia Cavaliers are back home to host the NC State Wolfpack on Saturday afternoon in Charlottesville, Virginia. This game may be a bad weather game as hurricane Delta is on the horizon in the South.

The Wolfpack took down the #24 ranked Pitt Panthers last weekend after marching down the field with less than two minutes to go. NC State was down 29-23 with and scored a touchdown to take the lead with 23 seconds left thanks to QB Devin Leary.

It marked the first time that NC State took down a ranked opponent since beating Lamar Jackson’s Louisville team in 2017.
Virginia Cavaliers
The Cavaliers have split their first two games of the season following their 41-23 loss to Clemson last Saturday. Clemson is the number one team in the country, so cut Virginia from slack for the loss.
Redshirt Sophomore QB Brennan Armstrong has been sub-par to begin the season for the Cavs. Armstrong has completed 48 of 88 passes for 539 yards to go along with his five touchdowns and four interceptions.
