The Hurricanes continue to fly under the radar as one of the nation’s undefeated teams as they head to Ohio to take on the Bearcats for a Thursday night showdown.
Miami rewarded themselves with a bye week last week following their overtime win against Nebraska.

The Bearcats had a heartbreaking loss to Memphis in an offensive shootout 53-46.
Kick off is set for 7:30 on ESPN.
Miami
Miami’s last game came two weeks ago against the Nebraska Cornhuskers and in what was dramatic fashion, they knocked off the Cornhuskers 36-33 in overtime.
Miami nearly choked away their lead as they led by 22 with just 8 minutes to play in regulation. Nebraska came all the way back to tie things up, only to see Miami grab a game winning field goal in overtime.
Miami’s main flaw as they sit at 3-0 has been the discipline. The Hurricanes’ defense gave a giant helping hand in the Cornhuskers comeback as they had two targeting penalties on two separate drives. The offense also played a problem as they had two holding penalties that negated two touchdowns.

QB Brad Kaaya threw for 379 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the win. His impressive play continues as he’s thrown for 839 yards on the season with 5 touchdowns and just 1 interception.
RB Joe Yearby has 311 yards and 3 touchdowns to his name on his impressive season as well.
Cincinnati
The Bearcats showed zero defense in their 53-46 loss to Memphis last Thursday. If that wasn’t bad enough, QB Gunner Kiel was knocked out of the game following a direct shoulder to the head in the 1st quarter.
Even with Kiel out, the Bearcats offense still managed to put 46 points and nearly came away with a road victory.

Calling the shots for Cinci this week will be QB Hayden Moore. Moore relished in the opportunity as he threw for a ridiculous 557 yards and 4 touchdowns.
WRs Max Morrison and Chris Moore both surpassed the 150 mark and have been the main targets in this deep Cincinnati receiving core.
Overall, the Bearcats are averaging 40.2 points a game on the season.
