HISTORY: Iowa and Nebraska have built up a nice rivalry over the course of time. Dubbed the Heroes Game and annually played on Thanksgiving weekend, Nebraska leads the all-time series 29-19-3, but Iowa has won the last six meetings.

Tyler Goodson has been the focal point of Iowa’s offense this season. Goodson rushed for 132 yards against Illinois, and he leads the team with 945 rushing yards and five touchdowns.
Junior Sam LaPorta might be the next great Iowa tight end in line, and he leads the team with 37 catches for 425 receiving yards and two scores.
The Cornhuskers followed up a rough seven-week stretch that included six losses by one score or less by taking another close loss to Ohio State, 26-17. Nebraska covered the generous home spread, but it’s been a sickening season for Scott Frost’s team.

Samori Toure leads the team in receiving with 40 catches for 831 yards and five scores, and he’s coming off of a pair of 100-yard outings. Junior tight end Austin Allen had career-highs of seven catches and 143 yards against a talented Wisconsin defense.
