No. 8 Michigan will be looking to stay undefeated at home this season and climb their way back into playoff contention when it hosts Indiana on Saturday afternoon from the Big House.
The Indiana Hoosiers continue their search for their first Big Ten Conference win of the season in Saturday’s matchup.
Indiana Hoosiers
After such an impressive season last year the Indiana Hoosiers have had a hard fall back to the bottom of the Big Ten conference. Tom Allen is still looking for his first conference win this season as they continue to lose in close fashion to tough opponents.
Last week, Indiana went on the road to Maryland and almost pulled off a late rally against the Terrapins but fell short 38-35. The Hoosiers started true freshman Donaven McCulley as Michael Penix Jr. and Jack Tuttle continue to work their way back from injury.
McCulley played solid and finished the game 14 of 25 passing for 242 yards and 2 touchdowns. The four star prospect will be tasked with another challenge this week as he has to play on the road again, this time in the Big House.
Michigan Wolverines
Michigan dropped their biggest game of the season last weekend against rival Michigan State on the road 37-33. The Wolverines led 30-14 with just over 6 minutes remaining in the 3rd quarter but could not stop Kenneth Walker Jr from running all over them. The transfer RB finished with 23 carries for 197 yards and 5 touchdowns.
The 16 point blown lead is tied for the biggest comeback in the Michigan/Michigan State rivalry history. The loss dropped Michigan down 3 spots in the AP Poll and more importantly gave the Spartans the driver seat in the Big Ten East.
Cade McNamara had his best game of the season as he was asked to do a lot more in this game as the rushing attack struggled to get going. The Junior QB finished 28/44 passing for 383 yards and 2 touchdowns, he also threw an interception on the final drive as a corner made a spectacular one handed catch.
The Wolverines offense has been above average in the Big Ten, averaging the 5th most yards per game with 440.5. Their scoring offense has been exceptional, 2nd best in the conference averaging 38.5 points per game.
Michigan’s defense has been solid as well this season, allowing 310 yards per game which is the 4th best in the conference. The teams scoring defense is also 4th best in the Big Ten, surrendering just 15.5 points per game.

4* Free Week 10 NCAA Betting Pick: Michigan -20 & Under
The Wolverines are at home after losing in heartbreaking fashion to Michigan State. They’ll be looking to make an example out of the visiting Hoosiers in this one.
Donaven McCulley is in a tough situation as the Freshman will be asked to go on the road against a top 10 opponent. The young quarterback was slammed to the dirt four times against Maryland last week.
Michigan’s defense should be drooling at the idea of going up against an Indiana offensive front that’s the fourth-worst in the conference in sacks allowed. The Wolverine’s pass defense is also among the best in the conference as they allow just 184 yards passing a game.
Take the Wolverines and the under this Saturday.
