The Georgia State Panthers enter Autzen Stadium with the same record as the Oregon Ducks, but these are two very different teams.

The Panthers are coming off a tight two-point win, 34-32, over NMSU, while the Ducks are reeling from a close three-point loss to the then-ranked No. 5 Michigan State Spartans.
Georgia State
The Georgia State Panthers found success last week versus NMSU by finding balance but offense, but especially by attacking through the air. That’s going to be the same plan of attack against Oregon — a team whose secondary struggled in Week 1 and didn’t do much in Week 2 to prove it’s on the elite level we expect from this program.

In week 2, the Panthers combined for an impressive 582 yards. That’s 210 rushing yards on 46 attempts and 372 passing yards on 32-of-43 completions.
The star receiver for this group in that contest was Penny Hart. He had 11 receptions for 150 yards and two touchdowns.
Oregon struggled to stop a key FCS wideout in Week 1, and the Panthers will look to force the same kind of struggles upon the Ducks in Week 3 with Hart coming off a massive performance .
Oregon
The Ducks are in an interesting spot. Transfer quarterback Vernon Adams won the starting job after just two weeks on campus, so there’s legitimate reason to believe he’s well ahead of backup Jeff Lockie, who played second fiddle to Heisman Trophy winner Marcus Mariota last season.
Then again, Adams is damaged goods at the moment with a broken index finger, on his throwing hand yet he claims he’s a “game-time decision” with just a few days remaining.

Although there’s pros and cons to both sitting and starting Adams, you have to wonder what this is going to do to Oregon’s game planning and execution come Saturday.
Against a big-time opponent, this could be a problem. Against a team that won just a single game last season, I offer this advice to Ducks fans: Don’t worry; be happy.
This game should still go in the Ducks’ favor, but the question is: Can they cover the massive spread, and does it matter who is playing behind center for that to ultimately come to fruition?

Free Week 3 NCAA Football Prediction
This game belongs to the Ducks, and chances are, the spread does as well. Quite frankly, both quarterbacks on the Oregon roster have a clear-cut advantage against Georgia State in that they have an elite group of athletic receivers at their disposal.

Give this one to the Ducks, and give it to them by a wide margin — whoever stars behind center.
