4* Free 2023 Myrtle Beach Bowl NCAA Betting Prediction: Ohio +3.5
I’ve been a fan of OHIO this year, and bet on them a ton, and made some good money on them this year. Including those late season MACTION games. So far this season, the Ohio offense has been excellent at moving the chains on third down. I expect this trend to continue as they put together some sustained drives vs. GS. I’m taking Ohio.
I found some interesting trends and stats for this week’s college football bowl game, which I came across online. Ohio has been doing well lately, winning 9 out of their last 11 games, and they’ve covered the spread in 5 out of their last 7 December games.
On the other hand, Georgia Southern has struggled, going 1-6 against the spread in their last 7 games.
For a moneyline bet, consider taking Ohio. They should not only take down GS straight-up but also cover the spread.
On the over/under, I have the best bet being to take the over at 49. This looks like a slam dunk bet for me, as my gut tells me the over will hit as well as our model projecting a combined 52 points.
For those of you interested in Over/Under betting, here are some helpful trends. Ohio’s games have tended to go over the total, with 7 consecutive overs against Sun Belt conference opponents.
Georgia Southern has also had more over’s than under’s, hitting the over in 4 out of their last 6 games.
