The Georgia Southern Eagles haven’t had a good start to the season but it really shouldn’t be that shocking because they have played a tough schedule.

They have played LSU and Minnesota and they almost pulled off the big upset against the Golden Gophers. The offense has been fine all season but the biggest issue has been on the defensive side.

In their last game they took on the Ragin’ Cajuns and the defense struggled giving up 37 points and that led to the loss.

On the offensive side they are a run first team and are averaging 201.8 points per game. In this game they are going to need to run wild.

If they can get out to a fast start, they really should have no issue running up the score and winning the game with ease.

South Alabama Jaguars

On the other side of this matchup is the South Alabama Jaguars who started off their season with a win, but since that point they have really struggled.

For the Jaguars the offense has been really struggling and they need to find a way to get the offense moving in a positive direction.

In their last game they put up 17 points, but in the previous two games they only scored nine points total and that led to the losses.

The biggest issue for the offense has been the turnovers. their two quarterbacks have combined for seven interceptions.

In this game the defense is going to need to be strong early and the offense can’t be turning the ball over and giving the Eagles short fields.
