Two teams from the SEC will be facing off at 12:00 ET when the Florida Gators visit the LSU Tigers.
Florida is coming off a blowout win and LSU is coming off a blowout loss.
There has been some line movement in this game. The Gators opened up as 5 point favorites and that number has now jumped to 11.5 The total has gone from 57 to 59.5. It will be interesting to see where these numbers end up.
Florida Gators
I would say that #20 Florida has had a good season overall. Their first loss of the year to Alabama is acceptable, but to me, they never should have lost to Kentucky. That was a game they could and should have won.
The Gators covered last week as 38 point favorites against Vanderbilt in a 42-0 win. Unsurprisingly, this game was never close.
Quarterback Emory Jones had himself a good day in the win over the Commodores. He was 14/22 for 273 yards and 4 touchdowns. Leading receiver Jacob Copeland had 5 catches for 79 yards. I look for this unit to have some success against this LSU defense.
The defense for this team did exactly what they had to do against a weak Vandy team. This unit has been solid all year long. In their last 3 games, they have allowed a total of 27 points. They will look to carry over that success against the Tigers.
LSU Tigers
LSU is just simply not getting it done this year and coach Ed Orgeron is in danger of losing his job. Something needs to change in Baton Rouge.
The Tigers were a slight underdog against the Kentucky Wildcats on Saturday and they came nowhere near covering. Kentucky routed them by a score of 42-21. The Tigers looked totally overmatched.
Max Johnson was 22/38 for 261 yards and 1 touchdown pass. He will look to be a little more accurate this week against the Gators. With that said, Johnson was not the main reason why this team got crushed.
Running back Tyrion Davis-Price had himself a good day in the loss. He ran the ball 22 times for 147 yards. I am sure he will get lots of touches this Saturday.
The defense continues to be a major area of concern for this club. I do not care what Kentucky is ranked, there is no excuse on this planet to allow that team to score 42 points. They are simply not that good of a team to be doing that. If it was Alabama or Georgia, I would understand. They will be tested an awful lot when going against the Gators.

Free Week 7 NCAA Football Pick
I like LSU to cover the spread here.
4* Free Week 7 NCAA Betting Pick: LSU ATS
Things are not looking good for the LSU football program right about now and they desperately need a win. I do not see that happening, though. With that said, I do feel that the Tigers can cover this number. To me, 11.5 is a very high spread to be laying with Florida. I get that Florida is the better team here, but I am not totally sold on them covering. A few weeks ago, Florida was laying 8.5 against the Wildcats and not only did they not cover, but they also lost the game outright. I am not predicting a Florida loss here, but I look for the Tigers to use their home-field advantage and keep this relatively close.
