Depending on what you think of Boise State this season, this date against the Huskies might be the most challenging game on their schedule.
The same is far from true for Washington, who is hoping to show more competitiveness than they did a season ago.

After an appearance in the College Football Playoffs the previous year, the Huskies finished with a 6-7 record. The season ended with a narrow 35-34 loss to Louisville in the Sun Bowl.
The team’s offense was inconsistent, averaging 23.4 points per game, which ranked them 104th in the FBS.
The defense was slightly better, allowing 23.8 points per game, ranking 54th in the nation.
The running game was led by transfer Jonah Coleman, who rushed for 1,053 yards and 10 touchdowns. The receiving corps was highlighted by Giles Jackson with 893 yards and seven touchdowns, and Denzel Boston with 834 yards and nine touchdowns.
While not a championship season, the Huskies’ 2024 campaign was a rebuilding year that provided a foundation for the future in their new conference.
