Two teams from the ACC will be facing off when the Clemson Tigers visit the Louisville Cardinals. The kickoff is set for Saturday at 7:30 ET.
Clemson is coming off of a win and the Cardinals are coming off of a loss.
I have seen most spreads list the Tigers as 4 point favorites. The total has gone from 45 to 46.5.
Clemson Tigers
Folks, this is not the same Clemson team that you have been accustomed to watching. They are a totally different team than they have been in past years and it is showing in the way they play.
The Tigers beat the Florida State Seminoles last week by a score of 30-20 and it was also the first spread this squad has covered all year long. If it were not for the flukey ending, they would be 0-8 ATS.
Against the Noles, DJ Uiagalelei was 19/39 for 189 yards with 1 touchdown and 1 pick. He still was very inconsistent in that game. Simply put, he has been one of the more disappointing players in all of college football this season.
On Saturday, running back Will Shipley had a big day on the ground. He ran the ball 25 times for 128 yards. The leading receiver was Justyn Ross who had 6 receptions for 85 yards.
The defense is not the reason that this team has not been good this year. This unit is keeping them in the games they play. The biggest problem is the lack of production from the offense.
Louisville Cardinals
Louisville has shown glimpses of being a good team, but they are just way too inconsistent. Maybe they can surprise some people and beat Clemson.
The Cardinals looked flat last week when they lost to the NC State Wolfpack by a score of 28-13. That was a team they could have beat, but they just did not execute well enough to earn a win.
In the loss to NC State, Malik Cunningham was 11/28 for 219 yards with 1 touchdown and 1 pick. Things will not get any easier for him when he has to go against a very good defense in Clemson.
Cunningham was also the leading rusher a week ago with 18 carries for 76 yards. I am sure he will look to use his legs quite a bit when he goes against the Tigers. If he is not effective in the run game, I do think they will win the game.
The defense for this team has been better than it has been in past years. When you only allow 28 points to a high-powered offense, you should be in that game with a chance to win. However, it is hard to beat any team when you only score 13 points.

Free Week 10 NCAA Football Pick
In past years, this game would not be competitive at all. Clemson would wipe the floor with the Cardinals. I do not see that happening in this one.
I like the Cardinals at +4 here.
4* Free Week 10 NCAA Betting Pick:
Besides cupcake games, I do not see Clemson blowing any teams out. I feel this game will be pretty close. I do not trust their offense enough to feel confident in them covering this one.
The Cardinals clearly had an off day last week, but I do not see that happening two weeks in a row. I look for them to be a lot sharper when they face the Tigers in Kentucky on Saturday.
I just don’t trust the Tigers to make this game a laugher. They have been very bad against the spread and I look for that trend to continue. I have a hard time seeing them go on the road and cover this number, even though 4 is a low number.
Give me the Cardinals getting 4 in this one.
