This one should be fun. I am so glad the MAC is having their season.
Buffalo might be one of the most exciting teams in the country to watch. Ohio is solid too.
It is all going to come down to whether you can stop the Bulls on the ground. If you can’t, look out.
Buffalo Bulls
I know the MAC is not blessed with great defenses but it is still impressive that they are second in the nation averaging 323ypg on the ground.
Jaret Patterson has 920 yards and 16 TDs in just four games. He gets a lot of usage for sure but why not, he is averaging close to 9 yards per carry.
Even when his backup is in the game they move the ball on the ground. Patterson had over 400 yards on the ground last week but if the backup didn’t come in it could have been 500.
QB Kyle Vantrease can throw the ball when necessary. Though that hasnt’t been very often. The defense is alright too, tough they did give up 41 last week while winning by 29.
Buffalo is just awesome at times. It is too bad we have not been able to see them against competition outside the MAC.
Ohio Bobcats
Ohio is once again one of the steadiest programs in the MAC. With one loss already though they are going to have to beat Buffalo to have a shot at the division.
A couple of things are going to have to be overcome for that to happen. The first, and most obvious, being a rush defense that is 93rd in the nation.
The other is the fact that QB Kurtir Rourke is hurt. Armani Rogers will get the call and he has experience from UNLV but he is more runner than thrower.
Ohio is just so solid they are unlikely to get trucked by Buffalo the way that other teams have. At the same time there is very good reason they are big underdogs at home.

Free Week 14 NCAA Football Pick
Buffalo has been awesome this season. The closest an opponent has gotten is 19 points and Ohio would be doing well to do so.
4* Free NCAA Betting Pick: Buffalo -11.5
The hard part about keeping up with the Bulls is not just that they can score a lot but the clock is running the whole time. They make it hard for you to catch your breath.
Ohio is going to have to have their best offensive and defensive games to keep up. I am not banking on that here.
