Bowling Green Falcons
The Bowling Green Falcons feature one of the most explosive offenses in all of college football. Senior quarterback Matt Johnson is the conductor as he has thrown for 450 yards per game, completed 61% of his passes and has thrown 12 touchdowns to only one interception.
Look for those numbers to improve

Bowling Green has scored an average of 39.5 points in this season and have run over 90 plays this season which is 3rd in all of FBS. Again, Bowling Green has an explosive offense that can play with anybody.
Their problem isn’t on offense, it’s on defense and that’s why they are 1-2 on the season.
Bowling Green hasn’t been able to make many stops on defense as they have given up 495 yards per game on defense and given up 43 points per game.

However, two of those losses did come against the Tennessee Volunteers and the Memphis Tigers, two of the better offenses in FBS. The Purdue Boilermakers don’t have an explosive offense at all and Bowling Green shouldn’t have many problems this week.
Purdue Boilermakers
After starting 1-2 for the season the Purdue Boilermakers have decided to make a change at quarterback. Junior QB Austin Appleby has been ineffective in the three games completing only 54% of his passes for 669 yards with five touchdowns and six interceptions.
Redshirt freshman David Blough from Carrolton, Texas will take the reins and make his first career start this Saturday against Bowling Green.
Blough has played a limited amount of snaps completing three passes for eleven yards.

Long term, the change at quarterback might be good for Purdue, but that won’t cure-all their problems this week. Purdue still has a mediocre offense that ranks 63rd in the nation in scoring and 81st in yards per game.
Bowling Green doesn’t stop anybody, but they should make a few stops on Purdue.
Defensively, Purdue is even worse as they give up 46 points per game, 117th in the nation, and 434 yards per game which is 83rd in the nation.
I hope the scoreboard operator.

Free Week 4 NCAA Football Prediction
I’ve got Bowling Green easily covering. Their offense is going up against a poor defense and Purdue’s offense isn’t good enough to keep up. Plus, when you have a MAC team facing a Big Ten team, that MAC team will have a chip on their shoulder.
Bowling Green will be fired up and will beat the Boilermakers.
