Friday night football heads into Virginia as the Cavaliers look for their 2nd straight win as they welcome in the Boise State Broncos.
Boise State comes in fresh off a bounce back win over Idaho State 52-0. This comes following a tough 35-24 loss to the hands of BYU.

Virginia on the other hand gave Notre Dame all they could handle in Week 2, but failed to keep them out of the endzone late. The hangover effect came into place in Week 3 as they snuck by William and Mary 35-29.
The Broncos open as a 2.5 point road favorite here as both teams look to make it 2 in a row.
Boise State
The Broncos are a couple plays away from being 3-0 on the season and likely in the Top 25. However, they responded in a big way regardless of who the competition was as they dominated Idaho State 52-0 in their Week 3 contest.
The win came with a bit of a price though as QB Ryan Finley exited the game in the 1st quarter with a right ankle injury. This opened the door for the 2 backups to get a real feel and some playing time as Boise tries to figure out what they’ll be doing going forward.

QB Thomas Stuart was first up following Finley’s exit and played fairly well as he passed for 69 yards and rushed for 46. Stuart also threw for a touchdown.
The other guy in the conversation is QB Brett Rypien. Listed as the 3rd stringer, Rypien threw for 126 yards on 8 of 9 passing and had 4 drives that all led to scores.
Boise also impressed with the run game running for 344 yards behind Jeremy McNichols 69 yards and 3 scores.
Virginia
The tone changed a little bit for Virginia in Week 3. They were just over a minute away from upsetting Notre Dame, but a late Irish touchdown with just 12 seconds left sealed a 7 point loss for the Cavaliers.
They clearly struggled to get over that home loss as they nearly were upset by William and Mary. Virginia had to withstand a late 2nd half comeback, but still managed to earn their 1st win of the season.

QB Matt Johns went 17 of 23 for 263 yards and 3 touchdowns, but threw 2 picks and looked shaky at times.
RB Taquan Mizzell continued to show off his dual threat abilities as he caught 5 passes for 123 yards which included an 80 yard touchdown catch and run. Mizzell now has 388 all purpose yards and a pair of TDs on the season.

Free Week 4 NCAA Football Prediction
Virginia looked extremely bad as they nearly fell to FCS participant William and Mary. But this team also nearly beat potential BCS Playoff participant Notre Dame.
Virginia should be out of the hangover stage and get set to play back up to their potential.
