In this game the Akron Zips make the trip to Huskie Stadium on Saturday afternoon to take on the Northern Illinois Huskies. The Huskies have won the last four games played between the two teams.

The Akron Zips look to be the worst team in college football and if they aren’t the worst they are no doubt one of the worse.

This is a team that hasn’t played good defense and the offense has been even worse, and that has led to them not winning game.

In their last two games the defense actually hasn’t been that bad giving up less than 27 points in each of the games, but the offense has been terrible scoring three points total.

The passing game has been decent this year but they haven’t been able to get anything going on the ground. On the season they are averaging only 50.4 yards per game on the ground.

In this game if they want any chance the offense needs a balanced attack. If they can’t get the offense going through the air on the ground, they are going to have issues.

Northern Illinois Huskies

On the other side of this matchup is the Northern Illinois Huskies who have not had a good season which is very surprising.

They come into this game having won only two games and although they have been involved in some other close games they haven’t made the plays late to win the game.

In their last game against the Miami of Ohio Redhawks they gave up 14 points in the third quarter and they couldn’t overcome it late.

One big question in this game is who will start at quarterback. Ross Bowers is doubtful for this game as he deals with a concussion.

If he can’t go it will be Marcus Childers who has thrown for 181 yards, one touchdown, and zero interceptions. In this game they need Childers or Bowers to have a lot of success.

If they can score 20 points in this game they can win this game.
