The USC Trojans will look to stay undefeated going up against the UCLA Bruins this weekend in the Rose Bowl. The Trojans are coming off a win against Washington State 38-13, while the Bruins got the victory facing Arizona State 25-18 in their last bout.
USC Trojans
The Pac-12 got off to a late start this season and it doesn’t look like they are going to have a representative in the CFP, but if there was a likely candidate it would be this USC team. The Trojans will try to stay perfect going up against a feisty UCLA team on Saturday. USC has faced a pretty easy schedule so far and this will be their real first test against a good offense.
USC has been solid on both sides of the ball, ranking 42nd in total offense and 30th in scoring, putting up 33.3 ppg.
Kedon Slovis is the leader of the Trojans offensive attack. The Sophomore quarterback made a name for himself last season and is going to have a lot of eyes on him next as a QB prospect. Slovis has gotten off to a very good start this year, throwing for 1257 yards with 10 TDs and two INTs so far.

On defense, they rank 34th in total yards allowed and 36th in points allowed, giving up just 21.8 ppg.
UCLA Bruins
UCLA is searching for their third consecutive win after taking down the Sun Devils last week. The Bruins come into this game with a 3-2 record and probably have lost any hope of appearing in the Pac-12 championship with their two losses. They have been very good offensively this season but on the defensive side of the ball if things don’t get fixed they could be in for a long night against this USC offensive attack.
UCLA offense has struggled a bit of late, averaging just 26.0 ppg in their last two games, compared to hanging up 37.0 ppg in their first three games. Redshirt Sophomore Dorian-Thompson Robinson has endured a couple of injuries this year and it’s starting to reflect in the offense. He has completed 52 of 90 passes this season for 691 yards to go along with eight touchdowns and just two interceptions.
DTR can also hurt you with his legs as he has rushed for 210 yards and three TDs so far. RB Demetric Felton leads the ground game with 578 yards and five TDs, but he had just 42 yards against the Sun Devils.
The Bruins are ranked 47th in total yards allowed, 61st against the pass, 48th against the run, and 41st in points allowed, giving up 24.8 ppg.

Free Week 15 NCAA Football Prediction:
I like USC to win this game. The Trojans want to flex their muscles on the rest of the Pac-12 and prove that they are the most dominant team in the conference. With a win over the Bruins, it should punch USC’s ticket to the Pac-12 championship game if they were to win. Kedon Slovis and Phil Steele’s passing offense should be able to outmuscle the weaknesses in the UCLA defense as they are very prone to the pass. They give up over 240 passing yards per game which good for 61st in the country. Dorian Thompson Robinson might be forced to miss this game with an injury so I would hope on the -130 ML before it spikes.
