College Football Betting – Las Vegas Bowl: UCLA +7 vs. BYU -7
When UCLA beat BYU 27-17 at the Rose Bowl earlier this year, things were very different for both teams than what we will witness at Sam Boyd Stadium as they meet again in the Las Vegas Bowl. For one, Karl Dorrell has been fired from his job as head coach of the Bruins, meaning interim head coach DeWayne Walker has to take on much more than his normal defensive coordinator duties. Injuries at key positions, including starting quarterback, backup quarterback and starting running back have also meant that the Bruins offense has had very little chance to gel at any point this season, and that is supported by the anemic offense NCAA football betting backers of UCLA have had to witness throughout the year.
UCLA Bruins +7 vs. BYU Cougars -7
No one is sure right now which quarterback will start this game for UCLA, but neither Pat Cowan or backup Ben Olson have been very effective when given the chance. Cowan has missed time with a concussion, a collapsed lung and a knee injury, while Olson has also missed significant time with a knee injury. Whoever does get the nod will find this a tough game to shine in, as the Cougars top two corners match up very well against Bruins wideouts Joe Cowan and Brandon Breazell.
BYU also has not allowed a 100-yard rusher yet this season and they will not have to give too much respect to the passing game the Bruins now have. Although UCLA will likely have to rely on its running game due to the questions they have at QB, it will not be an easy task. The Cougars can stuff the line and this could result in a UCLA breakdown in pass protection that will force bad throws and, likely, a couple of turnovers.

If you bet on NCAA football, you would have to be a big Bruins fan to think they will be able to get their offense up for the task of staying within a touchdown of BYU in this bowl game.
