The Jets finished the preseason on a sour note, losing two of their last three practice games. The New York Rangers were able to find the winners column in two of their last three preseason contests.

Winnipeg Jets
The Winnipeg Jets finished the preseason with a 5-4 win at Minnesota, 3-5 loss against Edmonton, and a 0-2 loss in Calgary.
In the win at Minnesota, Josh Morrissey had a goal and two assists. Mattieu Perreault had a goal and one assist. The two of them chipped in just enough for Winnipeg to get the win.
Connor Hellebuyck was between the pipes with 16 saves on 19 shots.
Mathieu Perreault was able to light up the lantern at 6:50 in the first. Adam Lowry found the back of the net at 1:50 in the second on a short-handed goal.
The power play was good to Jack Roslovic at 4:18 in the second and Mason Appleton sunk the puck at 1:38 in the third.

Josh Morrissey took on the role of the hero at 1:09 in the overtime period.
New York Rangers
There’s a lot of talk about the New York Rangers taking on a new look this season. Center Mika Zibanejad was a beast last year. He led the team with 74 points, 30 goals, and 44 assists.
The Rangers will need him to come up big again this season if they have any plans of hoisting up the Cup at the end of the year.
