With a 7-4 win over the Lightning, the Jets improved to 42-14-3. Winnipeg covered the puck line as -1.5 goal favorites, and the total of 11 goals easily surpassed the pre-game line of 6.5 goals.

Winnipeg fell behind 2-0 in the first period, but seven different players scored to help the Jets rally. The Jets took the lead for good with 4:03 left in the third period, and added two empty-net goals to seal the win.

Winnipeg’s offense found the net seven times in their 7-4 victory over Tampa Bay. Each of their goals came from a different player, with Vladislav Namestnikov scoring his third of the season. Logan Stanley added his first goal of the year, while Alex Iafallo netted his first on a power play. Nikolaj Ehlers scored his ninth, and Cole Perfetti picked up his fourth on an empty net.

The Jets fired 34 shots on goal and recorded 10 assists. Dylan Samberg scored his third goal of the season, and Mark Scheifele added his eighth. Josh Morrissey contributed two assists, bringing his season total to 13.

Defensively, the Jets will look to improve after allowing the first goal at 13:11 in the first period, followed by another at 11:58. They also gave up a third-period goal, which tied the game at 4-4. Connor Hellebuyck made 26 saves with a save percentage of 86.7%, while the defense recorded 5 takeaways and 31 hits.

Nashville Predators

The Predators improved to 20-30-7 with a 5-2 win over the Avalanche. Nashville covered the puck line as -1.5 goal favorites, and the total of 7 goals surpassed the pre-game line of 6.5.

All five of Nashville’s goals came from different players. After falling behind 1-0 in the second period, the Predators tied it up with a goal from Steven Stamkos at 11:29 in the second period.

Nashville’s offense found the net five times in their 5-2 win over Colorado, with five different players scoring. After a scoreless first period, Steven Stamkos netted his second goal of the season on a power play, while Colton Sissons added his first goal of the year.

Roman Josi also scored, marking his first goal this season, and Gustav Nyquist secured his fourth goal with an empty-netter. Filip Forsberg added his seventh goal, also on an empty net. The Predators took 25 shots on goal and scored twice on power plays.

Nashville’s defense gave up the first goal just 2:54 into the second period and another late in the third, but they held strong otherwise, leading to a 5-2 win over the Avalanche. Juuse Saros made 29 saves with a 93.5% save percentage, while the Predators’ defense added 4 takeaways and 23 hits.
