After a tough fought Dallas Stars 1-0 win in the Western Conference Finals series opener, Vegas was able to even things up in game two by the score of 3-0.

Both games in this series have been low scoring thus far and that looks to be the way things are going to continue to play out. The Golden Knights are a significant favorite for the third time in this matchup. Do the Stars have value?
Vegas Golden Knights
The Golden Knights loss in game one wasn’t unexpected. Both teams were playing on a quick turnaround after game 7 wins two days prior, but Vegas was also playing in their third game in four nights.
Vegas went with Marc Andre-Fleury in net in game one to rest Robin Lehner. Andre-Fleury is a three time Stanley Cup winner and was good enough to win the opener as the Golden Knights fell just 1-0.
Lehner was back in net in game two and was solid with his third shutout in the last four playoff games. Lehner has two straight shutouts and has faced just 38 total shots in those contests.
Dallas Stars
The Dallas offense has gone into a rut after a high scoring affair last round vs. the Colorado Avalanche. The Stars scored 5+ goals in 4 of 7 vs. the Avalanche but haven’t been able to break the Vegas defense yet.
On paper Dallas would seem to have the offensive talent to get to the Vegas goaltenders. Jamie Benn, Joe Pavelski, Alexander Radulov, and Miro Heiskanen have all had great playoffs but have been held in check this series.
Anton Khubodin also struggled in net last time out. He gave up 3 goals on 27 shots after stopping all 25 Vegas SOG in game one.
