Tuesday, February 19th brings a very intriguing NHL matchup your way as the Toronto Maple Leafs come into St. Louis with one goal, to stop the Blues 10 game winning streak. The action comes your way live from the Scottrade Center. St. Louis has won five straight over the Maple Leafs, so Toronto has two streaks to try to end in this one.
Toronto Maple Leafs
Toronto has won three out of their last five games, but saw their modest two game win streak snapped in the desert on Saturday, when they got blanked by the Arizona Coyotes 2-0. This game in St. Louis will be the last of their six game road trip, then they await the Washington Capitals on Thursday night.

C John Tavares is the Leafs leading goal scorer with 33 on the year, while their overall points leader, RW Mitchell Marner, has 21 goals and 48 assists. Projected starting goalie Frederik Andersen comes in with a 27-12-2 record, with a 2.56 GAA and a .923 save percentage.
Injury Report: LW Andreas Johnson is listed as “questionable” for Tuesday night.
St. Louis Blues
As stated above, the Blues are on a 10 game winning streak coming into this game, and haven’t trailed in a game in over 400 minutes during this streak. They haven’t given up a goal in three straight games either, including shutting out the Coyotes, the same team that just shut down Toronto.

Free Toronto Maple Leafs vs. St. Louis Blues NHL Prediction:
This is a tough one to call for me, my gut says that Toronto is the better team, and they have a better road record (19-8-2) than St. Louis does when playing on home ice (14-13-2), but a streak is a streak. And when a team is hot in hockey, almost nothing can slow them down.
But, all streaks have to come to an end, and I think Toronto will end the streak here. Take the Maple Leafs to win this one on the road. They will want to return home winners, and not losers of two straight.
