The Maple Leafs lost All-Star goalie Frederik Andersen in the second period with a neck injury Monday and coughed a two-goal lead in the third period of a 5-3 loss to Florida at home to drop into fourth place in the Atlantic Division.

New York Rangers
The Rangers have lost three of their last five games, capped by a 5-3 loss to Dallas on Monday, to fall further out of playoff contention.
New York announced it will give rookie goalie Igor Shesterkin (3-1-0, .927 SP) his fifth NHL start after the 24-year-old Russian allowed 10 goals combined in his first four outings. Left wing Artemi Panarin managed one assist in the last two games, but registered 16 of his team-leading 71 points in the past nine contests with five goals during that stretch.
Right wing Chris Kreider (18 goals, 35 points), an unrestricted free agent after the season who could be dealt before the trade deadline Feb. 24, missed Monday’s game with an upper-body injury and is considered day-to-day.
