St. Louis Blues
The Blues are in a great spot with 94 points that has them well on their way to the Western Conference playoffs. St. Louis still has a lot to play for however as they are just 2 points back from Winnipeg for 1st in the Central.
St. Louis has put themselves in this top position by going 7-2-1 over their last 10 games. The Blues have rattled off wins in 6 of 7 games and have a streaking offense that has scored 3+ in all but one of those.

For as good as the Blues have been this season, they have struggled vs. the Blackhawks going just 1-3. The games at the United Center have been close however, with St. Louis losing in OT and in another 1-0 matchup.
One of the major reasons St. Louis has been on such a tear is the man in net Wednesday, Jordan Binnington. He has won 6 of 7 starts, holding 5 of those opponents to 2 goals or less over that span.
Chicago Blackhawks
Chicago hasn’t officially been eliminated from the postseason as of the Tuesday night games, but it’s only a matter of time at this point. The Blackhawks have ran out of gas after an amazing surge around the all-star break but are still 4-3-3 over their last 10.
For the most part the Chicago offense has faltered lately. The team dropped a 3-4 OT loss to Winnipeg on Monday but has been held to 2 goals or less in 7 of the 8 games prior.

It’s hard to see Chicago getting much past Binnington on Wednesday. The O/U is low at 5.5 and 7 of the last 9 Blackhaws games have gone the way of the ‘under.’
Corey Crawford is also between the pipes for Chicago which further helps a low scoring affair play out. Crawford has struggled over the last three (11 goals allowed) but had a run of 4 out of 7 games prior giving up a goal or less.
NHL Betting Trends:
- Blues are 6-1 their last 7 overall
- Blues are 5-2 their last 7 vs. Western Conference
- Blackhawks are 2-6 their last 8 overall
- Favorite is 7-3 last 10 H2H meetings
Free St. Louis Blues vs. Chicago Blackhawks NHL Prediction:
The Blackhawks offense has talent but looks tired and gassed. Binnington is playing some of the best goaltending in the league right now which leads this to look like a low scoring affair.
