St. Louis, on the second night of a back-to-back, will head to Anaheim to face the Ducks.
Anaheim will look for its sixth win in the last seven games against a tough Central Division Blues squad on Sunday.
St. Louis Blues
The Blues haven’t been playing the best hockey to start 2017. The defense hasn’t been playing that well, and the team has given up a lot of goals.
On the year, the Blues rank 22nd in the league in goals against (128). St. Louis has given up five goals in each of the last two games, both losses. It hasn’t been a solid stretch and the Blues are starting to look a little shaky as we near the All-Star break.
On the offensive end, the Blues have been solid. Vladimir Tarasenko is play some good hockey. On the year, he has 20 goals and 23 assists. In his last five games, he has four goals.
Left winger Jaden Schwartz has played well, also. He has 12 goals and 11 assists on the year, including two assists in his last five games.

The Blues will need a great effort from the offense in order to beat a tough Anaheim squad.
Anaheim Ducks
Anaheim has Ryan Getzlaf back and things are looking good for the Ducks.
Getzlaf has already made his presence known since coming back from injury. In his first game back, he recorded an assist, reminding everyone why he’s the captain and why he is necessary on the ice.
With Getzlaf back on the ice, the Ducks have their core of offensive players in tact. Center Ryan Kesler, who has 17 goals and 19 assists on the season. He has two goals in his last five games.
Richard Rackell has also been playing fantastic hockey. He has 17 goals and eight assists on the season, including a goal on Thursday in the win over Colorado.
The Ducks will need all these guys on their game in order to beat a tough Blues team. The defense will need to play well also and keep Taransenko in check.

It won’t be an easy task, but the Anaheim offense has the capability to beat the Blues team.
