If the Sharks were ever going to go on the road and score an upset win over the Blues, it would be Tuesday night. St. Louis is mired in a 3-game losing streak right now – and have been especially vulnerable on defense.
Of course all three of the Blues losses have come on the road, and against quality opponents in Arizona, Colorado, and Vegas. St. Louis is back home Tuesday where they are 13-4-3 on the season.

Oddsmakers are banking that having the last 2 nights off and returning back to the Midwest will be good for what ails St. Louis, making them a -195 favorite on Tuesday.
San Jose Sharks
The Sharks are on a decent run right now, by their standards, going 4-4-2 over their last 10. It’s likely going to be a playoff-less year for San Jose though, as they have the 3rd fewest points in the Western Conference.
San Jose will be playing their 5th straight game on the road Tuesday as well. The team has been jet-sitting through the Midwest and Atlantic coast since before the New Year which may finally catch up to them in the finale Tuesday.

At least the Blues got to OT vs. the Golden Knights. St. Louis was dominated 3-7 by the Avalanche the game prior and kicked off their road swing with a 1-3 loss at Arizona as -112 favorites.
Being back home should help St. Louis a great deal, as should having the last 2 nights off. San Jose on the other hand will be playing their 3rd road game in the last 4 nights – eager to get back to the West Coast at the conclusion.
St. Louis went with Jake Allen on Saturday vs. Vegas. That means Jordan Binnington is fresh for the matchup with the Sharks. Binnington gave up 7 goals to Colorado’s #1 scoring offense in his last start but won 6 straight prior.
