Game 4 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals comes your way on Wednesday, April 17th, as the Nashville Predators face off against the Dallas Stars, live from the American Airlines Center. Nashville regained home ice advantage with their win on Monday night, and have yet to lose a game in Dallas this season.
Nashville Predators
Nashville definitely stole game three away from the Stars, as they continue to look like the lesser of the two teams in this series. Their undisciplined style of play didn’t get the best of them, but that is a very dangerous way to live in these Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Pekka Rinne once again was fabulous in net for the Preds, single handily keeping his team alive. He faced 42 shots, most of them very high pressured, as the Stars kept the puck in the Nashville zone for what seemed like the entire game. Rinne was his biggest though on a Dallas 5 on 3 power play opportunity, as he stopped 5 huge shots to keep his team in the game.
Injury Report: C Brian Boyle and RW Wayne Simmonds are both listed as “out” for Wednesday night.
Dallas Stars
Dallas should feel like they got robbed after their performance in game 3. For the first time all series, they came hard at the Nashville defense, firing shots from all over the rink. Their shot output in game three was nearly what their shot output for games one and two were combined.

For the first time in this series, Ben Bishop looked awfully pedestrian. He let in three goals on 28 shots, as these two teams seemed to trade aggressiveness roles from games one and two. Bishop will need to get back to game one status if he and the Stars want to go back to Nashville with this series tired up.
Injury Report: C Mattias Janmark is listed as “probable” for Wednesday night, while C Martin Hanzal and Defensemen Marc Methot and Stehpan Johns are all listed as “out” for the Stars.

Free Nashville Predators vs. Dallas Stars NHL Prediction:
With the offensive onslaught that Dallas put up on Monday night, I would expect to see the same type of attack from the home team again on Wednesday night. It will be up to Pekka Rinne keep his team in the game once again.
Take Dallas to win this game at home and tie this series up.
4* Free NHL Playoff Betting Pick: Dallas -106
They are 0-3 against Nashville at home this year, but they have been the better of the two teams all series long, and they should be able to pull off the win in this one.
