The Minnesota Wild are playing great, but one thing they haven’t quite gotten over the hump over is getting wins on the road. It’s time to conquer those demons playing in one of the toughest venues in the league for road teams.
Vegas is just 9-6-3 at home on the season so it appears teams are finally getting adjusted to making the trip to Sin City. The Golden Knights are still a dangerous squad though, going 7-2-1 overall in their last 10.

Just because the Wild offense has been better doesn’t mean defense hasn’t been winning them games. That being said, that defense is starting to wane a bit lately, allowing 5+ goals in 3 of the last 5.
Alex Stalock is the probable starter Tuesday night in Vegas. The Wild could also turn to Kaapo Kahkonen, who has started his career 3-1 but has given up 9 goals total in his last two outings.
Vegas Golden Knights
Vegas may not have the home ice advantage that they once enjoyed, but it’s not like the team is having a down year. The Golden Knights currently sit a point back from Arizona in the Pacific.
The Golden Knights also come into Tuesday’s game having won consecutive games. That includes an impressive 3-2 win in Dallas (OT) as +144 and taking care of business against Vancouver at home Sunday at -191.
Despite their overall success the 1st few years in existence, Vegas has really struggled with the Wild. Minnesota has won 5 of 6, with the lone Golden Knights win coming in a SO in October of 2018.
With the Minnesota offense surging, it’s on Marc-Andre Fleury to keep Vegas in this one. That may be a tall task considering the veteran has allowed 3+ goals in 3 of his last 4 starts all while not facing more than 31 shots.
