Sergei Bobrovsky vs. Anthony Stolarz

Matthew Tkachuk picked up his third goal of the season, with his coming on a power play. The Panthers had six assists, including Aleksander Barkov’s sixth of the year. Florida scored twice in the third period, with Reinhart’s empty-net goal coming with 1:00 left in the game.

Defensively, the Panthers will look to carry over their strong third period from the previous game, where they didn’t allow a goal in the final frame. Spencer Knight made 23 saves, finishing with a 92% save percentage. The Panthers’ defense also recorded 8 takeaways, 22 hits, and 16 blocks.

Toronto Maple Leafs

Toronto dropped to 39-22-3 after a 2-1 overtime loss to the Wild. The Maple Leafs trailed early, with Minnesota scoring at 9:41 in the first period. Toronto tied it up with just 52 seconds left in the first, but the Wild found the net again at 2:14 in overtime.

Toronto entered the game as underdogs on the puck line. The total was set at 6 goals, but the combined 3 goals fell short of that mark.
