The Lightning are within striking distance of the Atlantic Division lead and can keep the pressure on the first-place Florida Panthers with a win in this game.
Tampa Bay has fallen off the wagon after its recent nine-game winning streak. Since then, the Lightning are just 2-5 SU and are averaging less than 2 goals per game.
The Lightning have really struggled all season to maximize their offensive potential, but they still have big Ben Bishop in net to stymie opposing offenses.
Bishop’s 2.02 GAA is 1st among NHL goalies and his .928 save percentage ranks 2nd.
The key for Tampa Bay will be getting its offense back in sync.
