Dallas Stars

Dallas fell to 31-17-1 with a 4-2 road loss to the Panthers. The Stars were underdogs on the puck line, and the total of 6.5 goals went under, as the teams combined for 6 goals.

After falling behind 2-0, the Stars tied the game with two goals in the second period. However, the Panthers scored twice in the third period to seal the win, with the final goal coming at the 19:00 mark.

The Stars were held scoreless in the first period before netting both goals in the second, at 8:38 and 11:22. Miro Heiskanen recorded his fourth assist of the season, and Thomas Harley added his fifth assist on Duchene’s goal. Dallas had 32 giveaways in the game.

Dallas’ defense gave up the first two goals in their matchup against Florida, and after tying the game at 2-2, they allowed two more, including an empty-netter. Casey DeSmith made 21 saves with a save percentage of 87.5%.

With a 4-3 overtime win against Utah, the Golden Knights improved to 31-15-4. Vegas, favored by -1.5 goals, didn’t cover the puck line. The total for the game was set at 6.5 goals, and the combined 7 goals pushed the game over.

The Golden Knights fell behind 2-0 before rallying with four different players scoring. Brett Howden’s goal at 2:15 in overtime sealed the win for Vegas.

The Golden Knights fired 35 shots on goal in their 4-3 overtime win against Utah. Brett Howden netted his 6th goal of the season, while William Karlsson added his 2nd. Pavel Dorofeyev scored his 7th, and Noah Hanifin found the net for the 2nd time this year.

Hanifin also contributed with two assists, bringing his total to 5 for the season. Vegas was held scoreless in the first period before Dorofeyev got them going at 4:54 in the second.

Defensively, the Golden Knights will look to improve after allowing the first two goals in their previous game. They also gave up a late equalizer at 13:10 in the third period. Adin Hill finished with 16 saves and a save percentage of 84.2%.
