The Nashville Predators have been charging with a late season run with their six game winning streak only being snapped in their last game with the Dallas Stars and they have put themselves in a way better situation in terms of the postseason now with all those additional points.
Chicago Blackhawks
The biggest plus for the Chicago Blackhawks is that they are pretty healthy for this stage of the season with only left winger Brandon Hagel on the injury report, so they are primed to go on a run towards the end of the season.
Patrick Kane really has been the hero to this team as well, as he has 13 goals and 36 assists, as he has become more of a provider of goals with Toews still out. It has not just been the Patrick Kane show in the Windy City however, with Alex DeBrincat also emerging as the main beneficiary of Kane’s excellent play-making ability with him already bagging 19 goals thus far this season.
Although it is unconfirmed it looks like the starting goalie for the Blackhawks will be Kevin Lankinen who has a 2.70 goals against average and a pretty decent .920 save percentage and he will be looking to improve upon those stats against a Nashville team who does not have a dynamic offense.
Nashville Predators
The Nashville Predators will look to bounce back off of that loss last time against the Dallas Stars, as they ran into a hot Anton Khudobin in that contest which ended up in a 4-1 loss for the Preds.
Filip Forsberg has been the main producer of offense for this team with 11 goals and 18 assists and he has been invaluable, as this Predators team needs to make every goal count averaging only 2.38 goals per game which is one of the worst rates of scoring in all of the NHL.
Juuse Saros is the predicted starter here and the Finish netminder has had a very good season for the Preds with a 2.39 goals against average and a .923% save percentage and he will be tested once again here against the Blackhawks.

Free Chicago Blackhawks vs. Nashville Predators NHL Prediction:
This is a very tough game to call in terms of the sides, but I am fairly certain we will not see a ton of goals in this game with the Predators offense being what it is and the Predators blue-line with Roman Josi being formidable. I do like the Predators goalie here quite a bit and think this could turn into a goalie battle with Kevin Lankinen being no slouch either.
