Overall the Wild and Flames are two very evenly matched teams as they head into Sunday’s game in St. Paul. Minnesota has 43 points on the year, sitting in 5th in the Central. Calgary’s 47 has them 5th in the Pacific.

Despite Calgary being the more rested team on Sunday night, Minnesota is still a -120 favorite. The Wild can afford to let it all out in this one though as they have the next 3 days off before a home-and-home vs. these Flames.
Calgary Flames
When the Flames are hot, they are really hot as evidenced by Geoff Ward’s team rattling off wins in 8 of 9 games from late November to mid-December. Lately mediocrity has reigned supreme as Calgary is 3-3 the last 6.
