Jeremy Swayman vs. Alexandar Georgiev

It was a tough night for Bruins goalie Jeremy Swayman, who faced 26 shots and let four slip past him in a narrow 4-3 loss against Florida on Monday. This marks his first defeat of the season, but it’s also the second time in three games he’s been beaten for four goals.

Meanwhile, things are looking rough over in Colorado for Alexandar Georgiev. He took a beating on Monday, letting five pucks get past him on 37 shots in the Avalanche’s 6-2 loss to the Islanders. His numbers are nothing short of brutal: a .790 save percentage and a whopping 13 goals allowed in just three games!

Yikes. It’s safe to say Georgiev’s start to the season has been shaky, and he’s going to need to find his rhythm fast if the Avs want to turn things around.

Boston Bruins
