Washington Huskies
After narrowly losing two in a row and falling out of the top 25, the Huskies rebounded swimmingly with a dominant win over USC. In that game, they were truly masterful on the defensive side of the ball, holding USC to 20% from the field and 13% from three.
Inept and inconsistent offense has been a problem with this Huskies team and they will need to reverse that quickly if they want to win on the road.

Washington’s roster is one of the best in college basketball. Isaiah Stewart is one of the very best college players this season. He is averaging 19.5 points per game, paired with 9.1 rebounds per game which both lead the team.
Stewart is not alone, as Jaden McDaniels is drawing comparisons to Brandon Ingram and should be a top 10 NBA draft pick come June. He is averaging over 13 points a game and in the win against USC, he had 6 blocks and 7 rebounds.
As a team, Washington has become partial to turning the ball over and turning it over a lot. In their last three games, they have had at least 14 turnovers in each. They try to force feed Stewart which leads to turnovers.
Washington also needs to fix their rebounding prowess. In their last two games, their opponent has doubled their offensive rebounds. Washington allows second chance points on defense and is inept to creating second chance points on offense.
This will be an obvious problem against a talented Stanford team.
Stanford Cardinals
After losing to Kansas, Stanford got back into the win column with a double digit win over the 6-8 California Golden Bears. They have had an extremely impressive season thus far, only losing two games and have yet to lose consecutive games.
Their scoring has dipped, however, as they have not scored over 68 points in their four games.
Stanford is led in part by forward Oscar da Silva and guard Daejon Davis. da Silva leads the team in points per game with 17 and rebounds per game with 5.6.
Davis is averaging 3.6 assists per game and 1.9 steals per game, leading the team in both categories. Both of these men will need to continue their already impressive seasons to capture a win against a talented Washington team.
These teams are truly even in most categories, as their points per game, field goal percentage, and rebounds per game are near identical.
One facet of the game where Stanford has the upper hand is three point percentage. Offensively, Stanford has a three point percentage that creeps near 40%, where Washington sits at 33.3%.
Stanford is also better at defending the three, so expect Stanford to key on Stewart and try to neutralize his inside dominance.

Free Washington Huskies vs. Stanford Cardinals NCAAB Prediction: A close game throughout
Washington covers and possibly wins outright with another dominant performance from Isaiah Stewart.
I think this line is accurate as this game should be one possession either way. Stewart should have a day in the paint and Washington should cover. Keep an eye on the under as well. Be Advised.
