UCLA has the talent to compete with most teams but getting the most out of it has always been a challenge. This will be a game they could steal on the road.
Cincinnati looks more than solid and an AAC contender but I am not sure they have the ceiling of the last couple of Bearcats teams.

Belmont is a good program but the Bruins should not be losing to them at home. Now they have to travel and recover at the same time.
Kris Wilkes is a wiry wing scorer. He has potential but is not all the useful other than putting the ball in the bucket. They need more from him.

The same goes for fellow sophomore. Jaylen Hands. He is not as talented as Wilkes but still needs to step up. He has been less efficient than he was as freshman.
Frosh big man Moses Brown has looked good everywhere but the free throw line. He is a man among boys out there and doesn’t mind playing physically.
Cincinnati Bearcats
The Bearcats had one nine in a row before losing at Mississippi State. No harm there, that is a bonafide tournament team. This is a chance to build their resume though.
Jarron Cumberland is a great athlete who is benefiting from not having to share much anymore. As a junior he is shooting it from deep better than he ever has before.

Cincinnati always has men inside and this year it is Tre Scott that keeping opponents honest. He can score a little – 10ppg – and rebound like a Cincy forward should.
The defense has been superb so far this season, which is not a surprise – just 57ppg. They are going to want to slow down UCLA in this one to win.
