In their win on Tuesday, I liked the way the offense performed for this team. The leading scorer was Bryson Etienne, who had 21 points and 5 rebounds. John Walker III also had 16 points in 6 boards on the evening. Needless to say, all of the top guys for the Tigers are going to have to play their best ball when they take on their first round opponent.
Kansas Jayhawks
Once again, the Kansas basketball program had a very good season and now they will look to have similar results when it really matters in March.
In a 34 game slate between the regular season and the Big 12 tournament, the Jayhawks ended up going 28-6. When people think of consistency in college hoops, this is a team that should immediately come to mind.
This crew last played on Saturday, where they defeated the Texas Tech Red Raiders in the Big 12 title game by a score of 74-65. The game was back-and-forth for the majority of the night, but eventually, they were able to get some separation and get the win and cover.

It is good for the Tigers that they have made it to the madness, but I do not see things ending all that pretty for them when all is said and done. Kansas just has too many weapons they can go to on offense combined with that defense, which I feel will ultimately overwhelm Texas Southern.
Yes, this is certainly a very high spread to lay, but I like KU in convincing fashion.
Give me Kansas as huge favorite in round 1.
