I liked the way this group played defense in their last win, as the offense was really not clicking. When you hold your opponent to under 60 points in college hoops, you ought to feel good with your chances of getting the win.
Kentucky Wildcats
Another year and Kentucky had a very strong resume. As college basketball fans, we have just become used to seeing that with this program year after year.
The Wildcats come into March Madness with a record of 26-7. Given the kind of teams they had to go up against, that record is quite impressive and they will look to keep up that strong play now that it really matters.
They lost to the Tennessee Volunteers on Saturday in the SEC tournament by a score of 69-62. The Vols did a really good job of keeping this group in check, which not many teams can say they were able to do.
When things are really clicking, this team has the ability to score a lot of points on their opponent, but the offense was pretty quiet last time out. Sure, they were better in the second half, but that still was not enough.
