ACC play rolls on as the Notre Dame Fighting Irish head to Blacksburg, Virginia to take on the Virginia Tech Hokies.
Notre Dame Fighting Irish
Sitting atop the ACC, Notre Dame has looked extremely solid all season. Coming off a tough win over Miami on Thursday, the Irish will look to beat another tough ACC squad in the Hokies.
The Irish rely heavily on its veterans to get the job done and that will be no different against Virginia Tech.
Junior forward Bonzie Colson is having a solid season thus far, averaging just under 16 points per game along with 10 rebounds. He’s been a force in the paint for Notre Dame and has played well on both sides of the ball.

Senior V.J. Beachem has played extremely well, also. He’s averaging 14.5 points per game on the year.
Finally, we can’t forget about senior Steve Vasturia, who seemingly does everything on the court. He’s averaging 14.7 points per game on 48% shooting.
He’s also shooting 43% from behind the arc.
Beating the Hokies won’t be an easy task, but with the vets handling the brunt of the offense, Notre Dame should have a good shot at knocking off another ACC squad.
Virginia Tech Hokies
Despite a couple of big losses to North Carolina State and Florida State, the Hokies are not a team that will lay down against a seemingly better team like Notre Dame.
Ranking 25th in the country in scoring, at 83.3 points per game, the Hokies have solid offensive weapons that can torch teams if they aren’t ready for it.
The LeDay brothers have been wonderful for the Hokies this year. Senior Zach LeDay is averaging 16.8 points and 7.3 rebounds per contest. His younger brother, junior Seth LeDay, is averaging 14 and 7 per game. This one-two punch has provided a lot for the Virginia Tech team.

Junior guard Ahmed Hill has really come into his own this season. He’s nearly doubled his points per game average from last season, and is putting up 15 per game. He’s doing it while shooting an efficient 47% from the field.
The Hokies will need all of these guys to fire on all cylinders against this Notre Dame team.
CBB Betting Trends:
- Notre Dame is 3-5-1 ATS in the last nine games on the road
- Virginia Tech is 9-2 SU in the last 11 games
Free Notre Dame Fighting Irish vs. Virginia Tech Hokies NCAAB Prediction:
Virginia Tech gives up a lot of points. The Hokies gave up over 100 the NC State. Notre Dame can generate that kind of offense and I think it will against the Hokies on Saturday. I like the Irish to get the W.
4* Free CBB Betting Pick: Notre Dame ML
I gotta take the money line on Notre Dame for this one. The Irish have a better team and should gut out a win against an ACC rival.
