ACC play rolls on as the Notre Dame Fighting Irish head to Atlanta to take on the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, who are coming off a stunning 22-point blowout over top-10 ranked Florida State.
Notre Dame Fighting Irish
Despite losing two of three, including a 17-point loss to Virginia, the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame are still having a solid season and will look to get a needed conference win against Georgia Tech.
As it has been all year, Notre Dame will rely heavily on their veteran leaders to get things done on both sides of the ball. This includes the likes of Colson, Beachem, and Vasturia.

Junior forward Bonzie Colson is an extremely integral part of the Irish game, especially in the paint.
He’s averaging 15.6 points per game along with 10.5 rebounds. His presence in the paint has an effect in intangible ways as well, including altering shots and eliminating the low-post game.
Senior V.J. Beachem continues to play well this year. He’s averaging 14.1 points per game on the year.
He had a brilliant 30-point performance against Syracuse, but then struggled immensely against Virginia, getting just three points. He’ll look to bounce back against the Yellow Jackets.
Steve Vasturia will be called upon a lot this game. He’s averaging 14.9 points per game.
Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets
You’ve got to admire the Georgia Tech defense, especially when it stifles a very talented Florida State team and holds it to just 56 points. It was an unbelievable performance all around and one that the Yellow Jackets will hope to repeat against a good Irish team.
Controlling the boards was something Georgia Tech was able to do against Florida State, outrebounding the Seminoles 51-36. The team will need to limit Bonzie Colson on the boards and try to have a similar rebounding performance.
Freshman guard Josh Okogie has been great all year, averaging 15.6 points per game. He had his best performance of the year against Virginia, putting up 35 points for his squad.

Center Ben Lammers is averaging just shy of a double-double. He’s putting up 14.7 points and 9.7 rebounds per contest. He had a nice 18 point, 11 rebound performance against the Seminoles.
Beating the Fighting Irish will be no easy task but a mix of rebounding, defense, and the likes of Okogie and Lammers will give the Yellow Jackets a great shot at the win.
