Missouri has dropped 4 straight and has fell completely back in the SEC as they now sit in a 3 way tie for last place.
Missouri
The Tigers have been a mess this season, especially on the road which is where they will be on Wednesday.
Missouri is 0-5 this season away from home and have dropped all 3 SEC road games thus far. 2 of those road conference losses have come during their 4 game losing streak as they’ve fell in South Carolina and Texas A&M.

Missouri has averaged nearly 68 points per game this season, but their offense has completely disappeared as of late. They’ve managed just 57 and 53 point performances the last 2 times out.
The Tigers are led by Kevin Puryear, who is averaging 11.5 points per game. He’s put up 21 points combined over the last two Missouri losses, which is encouraging considering the lack of scoring they’ve produced.
Kentucky
The Wildcats have recovered from their slip up in Auburn with back to back wins over Arkansas and Vanderbilt to get themselves back in the SEC race.
The Wildcats trail the Aggies by 2 games, but will get their chance at them later on this season. For now, they must handle their own business and hope to get some help from others if they want to close the gap.
Kentucky is in a bit of a look ahead spot here as they have Kansas looming this weekend away from home, but the good news for them is that they get the Tigers at home for this one. Kentucky is a perfect 11-0 at home this season.
The Wildcats took the previous meeting between the two, which was back on Jan. 29 of 2015. Kentucky was 17.5 point road favorites and while they didn’t cover the number, they still defeated Missouri by 16.
Look for Jamal Murray to be the difference maker here as he’s been playing extremely well. Murray has averaged 17.8 points per game and his lowest point total over the past 10 games has been 12.
CBB Betting Trends:
- Tigers are 3-1-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a straight up loss.
- Tigers are 19-39-3 ATS in their last 61 road games vs. a team with a home winning % of greater than .600.
- Tigers are 16-33-3 ATS in their last 52 games following a ATS win.
- Wildcats are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 home games.
- Wildcats are 11-4-2 ATS in their last 17 vs. Southeastern.
Free CBB Prediction:
This is simply about Missouri keeping it respectable. This Tigers team is really bad and simply have no threat of scoring.
Even with Kentucky having Kansas this weekend, they won’t have any problems here dominating the paint as they are just too physical for this Tigers team.
